In November and December Hycos has performed an extensive overhaul of the hydraulic system on board the Terranova.Within a tight schedule we have executed a number of hydraulic Works, like:

• Exchanging all keelsom piping for stainless steel
• Overhaul of a number of hydraulic manifolds
• Renewing the greasing systems on draghead and intermediate gantries
• A number of modifications to the existing piping system
• A number of hatches to be operated hydraulically
• Renewing piping on several spots
• Installation of a number of isolation valves
• Flushing the system
• Re- commissioning

The execution of this type of job required a well motivated team on location, but also the support of a home office for  the supply of all required parts and updating all ship’s documentation. Something Hycos has ample experience at !
