When Hycos was approached in the beginning of 2010 by International Construction Equipment from Matthews, NC, USA if we were interested in starting a joint venture together with them for the introduction of their products in the EU we needed little time to reply.

Not a month later all agreements have been concluded for the new joint venture company under the name iCON foundation equipment BV.

Allready in the 70s of the last century  International Construction Equipment set up a company in Holland. This company still exists under the name ICEbv but is since many yearsfully independent from International Construction Equipment. However, this is the reason for introducing our new brand name iCON into the European market.

 But driving the reintroduction of International Construction Equipment in Europe is the invention of a new, patented solution for a vibratory hammer with a variable eccentric moment. The current solutions on the market are expensive and not very reliable - and both issues are resolved by the introduction of the iCON ZR ( zero resonance) series of hammers.

 The American hammers will be driven by Hycos powerpacks. For this purpose we have designed a new line of powerpacks, focussed on the requirements of this market - reliable, durable and economical.
