Hycos has recently redesinged its DHP 450 powerpack. The 450 is based on the Caterpillar C-18 diesel engine, and has a modular design to make the powerpack suitable for a range of applications.

 

The technical specifications of the unit have not changed -  and is as follows:

Diesel engine: Caterpillar C-18, 450 kW

Pumps: Parker PV, 700 L + 200 L, depending on configuration

Diesel tank: 1800 L

Hydraulic tank: 1350 L

Cooling capacity: to suit tropical climates

Noise level: well within CE limits

Transportation: 2 hoists, centrally located. Fits a standar 20 ft container

 

New is the enclosure design. The enclosure consists of 2 halves,  placedon the base frame. These 2 halves can be easily dismantled in case of major work on the powerpack - or in case of damage.

The control system has been modified an now boasts a color touch screen, displaying both engine data and all hydraulic inputs.

The dHP 450 can be used to drive pumps, vibratory & hydraulic hammers, drilling systems, winches, and much more.
